About us
My name is Pippa. I'm a compassionate integrative therapist working with adults 18+, online as well as in person (Exeter).
I can help if you're struggling with anxiety, challenging relationships, low self esteem or limiting self beliefs, to help you learn to set boundaries and find a sense of purpose and meaning in your life.
I draw on a mix of theories and approaches to include inner child and attachment work, to help you notice patterns of behaviour and work through any challenges you may be facing.
I use a balance of talking therapy and somatic exercises to help shift stored emotions and process any trauma.
I'm also a Polyvagal-informed therapist, an empowering perspective to help you understand and manage your responses to stressful or distressing situations.
Training, qualifications & experience
I'm a qualified integrative therapist with an Advanced Diploma in Counselling. I trained at Heartwood College of Counselling and Psychotherapy, based in beautiful Dartington in Devon, a course accredited by the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
My training allows me to support adults 18+ with a range of issues including anxiety, difficulties in relationships and friendships, family issues, low self esteem, attachment issues stemming from childhood, and many others.
I'm lucky to be working with a diverse client base across all genders and ages from 18 upwards. My clients are CEOs, parents navigating divorce or separation, professionals in their 20s and 30s, university students, couples seeking help with their relationship and many others.
I have a private practice in the centre of Exeter alongside agency and also work for a charity offering affordable therapy for adults 18+.
I also have a BA hons degree in English Literature from the University of Sheffield and a background working in publishing and higher education.

Further information
I integrate elements of attachment theory, inner child work, neuroscience, CBT and Gestalt into therapy sessions. I'm a passionate advocate of Polyvagal theory. My clients tell me it empowers to understand their nervous system's responses to triggering situations, helping to alleviate shame and distress and find a forwards with a fresh perspective.
I decided to train as a therapist following my own personal experiences of overcoming adversity. From my experience, I offer my clients compassion, support and someone to champion them. As an integrative therapist, I draw on a variety of skills and theories which I feel will most support you to be the person you were always meant to be.
