About me

Counselling with Nikki

I having been counselling in private practice since I chartered in 2004. I use an integrative approach to therapy having trained in many modalities. My favoured theoretical underpinning is in Gestalt Therapy but I like to be client led and will utilise theory and process ranging from Transpersonal and Existential therapies to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy where necessary. I am committed to ongoing learning (CPD) and ethical professional practice and will provide you with a safe, professional and confidential space from which to explore your concerns.

Counselling Psychology and Energy Psychology

My work is grounded in psychological theory and practice but I now work holistically, integrating a variety of energy psychology tools to help facilitate the ‘change work’. These complimentary tools give the shifts and resolution that you may be looking for. They include: EFT (tapping), Matrix Re-imprinting, Psych-K®, Theta Healing, Rewind Technique (Fast Phobia Cure), Reference Point Therapy. Energy Healing and the newly created Healing InSight® Method.

Unresolved stress and emotion can manifest in the dis-ease of our mind, body, life and relationships. Counselling offers you a safe space to explore your personal journey through life, gaining an understanding of your emotions, patterns and processes. It reveals the underlying limitations that you unconsciously place on yourself due to your conditioning and biological need for survival and belonging. Our mind is a powerful creator and using it wisely rather than being at its mercy can help us move towards a life of health, contentment and possibility.

Working with emotion and beliefs in the sub-conscious mind is the key to freeing ourselves from unhelpful familiar feelings, patterns and outcomes.  Beliefs and their associated emotions carry an energetic signature or vibration in the body. We often unconsciously feed these patterns, operating from our unconscious programmes 95% of the time, re-creating more of the same feelings and more of the same experiences.

Energy Psychology helps us to access the sub-conscious programming and change it, facilitating the resolution of old stressors and patterns. This in turn alters our energetic vibration, emotions and thoughts. It is then much easier to maintain awareness of ourselves, change behaviours and shift into a different, healthier and happier reality.

I have helped many people through their struggles. I am passionate about my work and have a great belief in our potential to heal and grow. Please see my website for testimonials.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
