Training, qualifications & experience
Having built a successful practice locally in East Herts and Central London over the last 12 years- I have had the privilege of working with and supporting a variety of clients from all ages.
Much of my work involves exploring what holds us back from fulfilling our potential, helping clients find their inner confidence, overcome limiting beliefs, and aligning their values to improve overall mental wellbeing and health.
When we work on ourselves, we open the potential of possibility. The opportunity to enrich our relationships and have deeper more meaningful connections with those around us. Working through emotional trauma and learning tools to help manage our coping mechanisms can give a sense of freedom.
Supporting people 17 year old and beyond, helping each individual move through the transitions in life and the challenges all humans face.
I see many clients who are at a crossroads in their lives regardless of age, due to bereavement, divorce, illness, depression or those who are simply searching for meaning in their life.
I also have involvement with a local Post-natal support group for women- we cover topics such as self-image, depression, identity and relationships. www.6weeksocial.co.uk
My passion for understanding human behaviour and helping others led me to the field of counselling and psychotherapy. My fully accredited qualifications provide me with training in many forms of psychotherapy and counselling. I am a full Member of both the National Counselling Society, National Hypnotherapy Society and bound by their code of ethics. I attend regular supervision meetings and continue my learning through CPD courses. I am a Master Practitioner of NLP and a certified Hypnotic Birthing Practitioner with Easi-Birthing UK.
I also have a central London based clinic every Wednesday near Bond Street for clients wishing to attend sessions during the working week at their convenience.
I believe in the therapeutic alliance and the transformative connection between client and therapist. Once we feel held in a safe space, with unconditional regard we give ourselves the chance to thrive and overcome our past.
