Training, qualifications & experience
Having built a successful practice locally in East Herts - working on various issues with clients. Much of my work involves building confidence and reducing stress in youngsters from 17-24 helping them move through the transition to adulthood. Many have had issues such as self-harm, drug abuse and eating disorders, low confidence and exam stress.
I see many clients who are at a crossroads in their lives regardless of age, due to bereavement, divorce, illness, depression or those who are simply searching for meaning in their life.
I also have involvement with a local Post-natal support group for women- we cover topics such as self-image, depression, identity and relationships. www.6weeksocial.co.uk
My passion for understanding human behaviour and helping others led me to the field of counselling and psychotherapy. My fully accredited qualifications provide me with training in many forms of psychotherapy and counselling. I am a full Member of both the National Counselling Society, National Hypnotherapy Society and bound by their code of ethics. I attend regular supervision meetings and continue my learning through CPD courses. I am a Master Practitioner of NLP and a certified Hypnotic Birthing Practitioner with Easi-Birthing UK.
I also have a central London based clinic every Thursday near Bond Street for clients wishing to attend sessions during the working week at their convenience.
