About me

Hello and welcome,

My name is Naomi and I am a Creative Arts Therapist. I offer a warm, confidential and validating space for my clients.

My sessions often combine verbal conversation with creative arts activities because sometimes words are not enough for us to accurately express our thoughts, feelings and experiences. Instead, it is often through the arts that we find solace, validation and a sense of understanding of our feelings.

Some examples of tools we may use in sessions include meditation, movement techniques, art making, creative writing, and drama exercises, other sessions you may just need to talk. The pace we work at and the content of our sessions will be directed by what is comfortable for you and suits your needs.

My work is underpinned by theories such as Developmental Psychology, Jungian psychology and Somatic Experiencing therapy. I apply an intersectional feminist and an LGBTQIA+ inclusive approach to my practice.

Common themes I work with are: anxiety, depression, low self esteem, complex trauma, social anxiety, grief, body image issues, sexuality exploration, relationship trauma, and pre menstrual syndrome.
