About me
Hi I'm Mark. As an integrative psychotherapist, I provide a compassionate and tailored approach to mental healing. With a BA (Hons) in Integrative Psychotherapy and membership with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), I offer a safe, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment.
I specialize in working with individuals facing anxiety, trauma, emotional distress, and life transitions. My approach blends various evidence-based techniques to suit your unique needs, ensuring therapy is a collaborative and effective process. I believe that healing is not about fixing what is “wrong” but rather understanding, accepting, and transforming your inner world so you can move forward with clarity and strength.
In addition to individual therapy, I also work with couples, helping partners navigate challenges, improve communication, and rebuild trust. Whether you’re experiencing conflict, disconnection, or struggling with past wounds within the relationship, I provide a supportive environment to foster understanding, connection, and growth.
Sessions are designed to support your personal and relational growth, whether you’re struggling with self-worth, relationship difficulties, or past experiences that still affect you today. Together, we work towards greater emotional resilience, self-awareness, and empowerment. My goal is to help you not only manage challenges but also reconnect with your authentic self, fostering long-term well-being.
I offer flexible therapy options, including in-person and online sessions, to accommodate your needs. Whether you are new to therapy or have experienced it before, I provide a warm, client-centered approach where you are always in control of your journey. If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing, I invite you to reach out. Let’s work together to create meaningful and lasting change in your life.
Training, qualifications & experience
I’m a BACP Registered Psychotherapist with a BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I specialise in supporting couples through life’s ups and downs. My work is grounded in a deep understanding of human relationships, and I am passionate about helping partners reconnect, heal past wounds, and create a healthier dynamic—or find clarity and closure when moving forward separately.
How I Work with Couples
I use evidence-based approaches like:
✔ Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) – helping you understand emotional patterns and reconnect on a deeper level
✔ Systemic therapy – identifying unhelpful relationship cycles and shifting towards healthier interactions
✔ Internal Family Systems (IFS) – exploring how past experiences shape your relationship dynamics
✔ Cognitive-Behavioural-Therapy (CBT) – providing practical strategies to improve communication and reduce conflict
I create a personalised, inclusive, and non-judgmental space for all relationships, including LGBTQ+ and non-traditional partnerships.
Common Areas I Help With
✔ Communication breakdowns & recurring conflicts
✔ Trust issues, betrayal, & rebuilding intimacy
✔ Navigating life transitions (parenthood, career shifts, separation, etc.)
✔ Understanding relationship dynamics & attachment styles
✔ Exploring separation with clarity & respect
Individual Therapy & Relationship Well-Being
Healthy relationships start with self-awareness. Alongside couples therapy, I also work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-esteem, and family issues, recognising that personal well-being deeply impacts how we connect with others. Couples therapy isn’t about forcing a particular outcome—it’s about gaining insight, improving connection, and making empowered choices about your future. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your bond, resolve tensions, or navigate separation with care, I’m here to guide you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
