Margaret Livingstone MBACP
Hi I'm Margaret and I am a Person Centred Counsellor and Supervisor providing a professional counselling service to young people(12& years), adults and couples. I feel privileged to work within a profession which focuses on increasing emotional wellbeing. Although my theoretical influence is mainly Person Centred, I also draw on Emotion Focused Therapy processes and techniques. I have worked creatively with clients and believe that creativity and humour can be important elements of therapy for some, alongside acceptance and compassion.
I'm aware that it can be difficult for some people to make initial contact and I hope that I can ease any difficulties when you contact me and that you will be comfortable speaking with me.
I have a particular interest in working with people who wish to understand themselves better, finding clarity and ease in their lives and find ways to increase their resilience.
In my experience it is the relationship between the client and counsellor which makes the difference in the client's outcomes, therefore it is very important that you choose the right counsellor for you.
