About me

No problem is too big or too small to bring to counselling. Your feelings and wellbeing matter. I provide a safe space to talk in confidence about whatever is going on for you.

This might be about thoughts, feelings, memories or behaviours you’ve been struggling with for a long time, or even something painful and traumatic that’s happened recently.

Counselling is a calm, supportive environment, offering some much-needed breathing space from your normal routine. I also make a decent cuppa!

As an Integrative Counsellor I will look to tailor our sessions to your individual needs. This might mean drawing upon different theoretical approaches including Humanistic and Psychodynamic.

Counselling can also help you find emotional clarity and increase self awareness. This process can help you build self confidence, get unstuck and create forward momentum in your life.

Our Psychodynamic exploration can be an empowering process, helping you to understand how your past influences your present, and to break the cycle of self limiting beliefs or unwanted habits.

Integrative Counselling can help with a wide range of feelings/issues, including:

Anxiety, health anxiety, depression, feeling sad, feeling different or unaccepted, panic attacks, grief, low self esteem, low self confidence, anger management and much more.

Lots of different things can have an impact on our wellbeing, including:

ADHD, BPD, relationships, family issues, trauma, bereavement for a beloved person or pet, work stress, alcohol issues, addiction, health problems and childhood memories.

Please email or text me if you have any questions, or if you’d like to book a session with me at Rutherford House in Birchwood.

I look forward to hearing from you :)
