About me

Marc – Integrative Counsellor

I offer a calm, confidential space where you can speak openly, at your own pace, and be met without judgment.

You don’t need to have the right words, a clear problem, or a neat explanation of how you feel. You just need to show up as you are.

Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. You might find yourself overthinking, doubting your worth, repeating patterns in relationships, or carrying feelings you can’t quite make sense of. You might simply feel that something isn’t quite right — even if you can’t explain why.

Therapy doesn’t need to start with answers. It starts with being heard.

My Approach

At the heart of my work is a person-centred, humanistic philosophy. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel genuinely understood, accepted, and safe enough to be real.

My role isn’t to give advice or tell you who to be. It’s to offer a relationship where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly — and begin to reconnect with your own sense of clarity, direction, and self-trust.

I see you as a whole person, not a diagnosis or a set of symptoms. Whatever you’re bringing has meaning, and together we can take the time to understand it.

How We Work Together

Much of how we think, feel, and relate is shaped by earlier experiences — often in ways we’re not fully aware of. These patterns can become deeply familiar, even when they no longer serve us.

Sometimes the body holds what the mind has learned to push aside. You might notice this as anxiety, tension, emotional overwhelm, or a sense of being “on edge” without fully knowing why.

In our work, we gently explore these patterns — not to analyse or fix you, but to understand you.

As awareness grows, something begins to shift. You may find yourself responding differently, feeling more grounded, setting clearer boundaries, or relating to yourself with more compassion.

This isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about reconnecting with who you already are beneath the noise, pressure, and past experiences.

Areas I Work With

I support people with a wide range of experiences, including:

Anxiety and panic • Depression and low mood • Low self-esteem and self-doubt • Addiction and recovery • Trauma and early life experiences • Grief and loss Relationship challenges

Next Steps

If something here resonates, you’re welcome to get in touch.

You don’t need to commit to anything straight away — we can simply start with a conversation and see what feels right for you.
