About me
I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years experience and expertise in treating a wide range of psychological issues. I have a special interest in helping clients manage anxiety and depression and I can offer a bespoke therapy experience due to my high level of training in various therapies. I tend to integrate cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, compassion focused therapy, psychodynamic and mindfulness approaches.
I worked in the NHS to a high level, reaching Head of Service in which I was responsible for the operational and strategic management of the service and supervision/management of a team of psychologists, trainee clinical psychologists and assistant psychologists. I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and I have held a Visiting Lecturer post at the University of Hertfordshire. I now focus on my private practice full time and I am Founder & Director of Harley Clinical Psychology.
I am committed to open and transparent clinical practice so that my clients can have confidence that I am ethical, professional and that my work is of high quality.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
