About me
Sometimes life can make you feel like you’re not yourself, but you’re not quite sure how to change. Whether you are feeling stressed, anxious, sad or dealing with relationship difficulties, I am here to help you identify the root causes of your issues and help you work on becoming the best version of yourself. My approach centres around the idea that our views of ourselves and the world around us are interconnected, and I use this knowledge to promote healing and growth.
I believe that everyone is unique and has their own set of circumstances that affect their mental health. Everyone should have access to a supportive and uplifting environment, where they can work through their struggles and come out on the other side. That is why I offer a person centred approach, designed to keep your needs at the forefront of the therapy process.
I aim to hold a compassionate, safe, and nurturing space which caters to your individual needs.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am deeply committed to helping my clients reach their potential by providing high-quality talking therapy. So, although I specialised in various treatment models, I strongly believes that the human experience is too complex to fit neatly into one model. As a result, my therapeutic style draws from multiple therapy models and is tailored to your individual needs. I always aim to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and help guide you towards fulfilment.
I have experience and am able to work with a wide range of mental health and well-being difficulties. However, throughout my career, I have worked in several settings where physical health has significantly contributed to mental well-being.
As a result, my specialist interest is, but not limited to, the intersection between physical and psychological well-being. I value taking a holistic approach in my therapeutic style to acknowledge the connection of mental and physical health.
Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
