Chartered Clinical Psychologist (DClinPsy, CPsychol)

About me

Sometimes life can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself, unsure of how to move forward. I work with high‑achieving adults who are struggling with stress, burnout, anxiety, low mood, or relationship difficulties and who want to understand the deeper roots of their struggles rather than just manage the symptoms. This often includes people who feel pressure to “keep going” while quietly feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from themselves.

My approach is grounded in the understanding that how we see ourselves and the world is deeply interconnected, and I use this to guide healing and growth. I believe everyone’s experiences are unique and that mental health support should be tailored to fit the individual rather than follow a one‑size‑fits‑all model. I have particular expertise in men’s mental health and in supporting men who find it difficult to talk about their feelings, navigate relationship conflicts, or manage the impact of long‑term stress and burnout.

I offer a person‑centred, trauma‑informed therapy space, combining compassion with evidence‑based approaches such as EMDR, acceptance commitment therapy, narrative therapy, and compassion‑focused therapy. My aim is to provide a safe, non‑judgmental, and supportive environment where you can explore what gets in the way of feeling grounded, connected, and more at ease in your life and relationships.

If this resonates with you and you are ready to take the first step toward understanding yourself more deeply and building a more fulfilling life, I invite you to contact me to explore whether we might be a good fit to work together.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with experience working with a wide range of mental health and well‑being difficulties, including stress, burnout, anxiety, low mood, and relationship challenges. I specialise in supporting high-performance adults and men who work in demanding environments and who want to improve their work-life balance, communication, and sense of self.

My work is informed by several evidence‑based approaches, including EMDR, compassion‑focused therapy, narrative therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Narrative therapy helps you explore and reshape the stories you hold about yourself, while ACT supports you to clarify your values and take committed action even in the face of difficult thoughts and feelings. I draw on these models flexibly, tailoring therapy to your individual needs rather than following a single formula.

I take a holistic view that integrates physical and psychological health, recognising how body, lifestyle, and environment shape emotional well‑being. My systemic perspective also means I consider how relationships, work culture, and wider social factors influence your experience. I aim to provide a safe, confidential, and non‑judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns in a way that feels meaningful to you, and to support you in feeling more grounded, connected, and able to thrive in both your personal and professional life.
