About me

Are you tired of repeating the same harmful cycles? Of feeling overwhelmed with difficult emotions? Of being anchored in past traumas? Of surviving and not living? I am here to tell you that it is possible to overcome life's adversities and become the very best version of yourself. Overwhelming emotions and unresolved past experiences do not have to anchor you in the past. You are worthy and capable of working through whatever difficulties you have faced (or are facing).

Therapy can provide you with a space to be heard, validated and help you make sense of your experiences; all whilst working towards embracing your authentic self.

Whatever may be leading you to seek therapy, I am here to create a safe, non-judgemental space to help you understand your inner world; whilst keeping your needs and wellbeing at the centre of our work.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an integrative therapist which means that I believe that one singular mode of therapy doesn't suit everyone. Instead, I integrate various forms of therapy based on the individual needs of each client. Specifically, I integrate Attachment Theory, Person-Centred Approach and Cognitive Behavioural Theory (CBT); to work holistically by considering all aspects of the human experience. As an integrative therapist I can flex my approach to suit your needs, considering your past, present and future to help you in making long-lasting changes.

I studied counselling and psychotherapy for 6 years and have obtained two degrees, with a qualification to masters level. I have experience working both within the domestic abuse sector and providing therapy for those in employment struggling with mental health.

Although I work with a vast range of clients, I often work with individuals who have experienced trauma, abuse or attachment wounds. This means that I can work with complex difficulties and support individuals in re-establishing safety, processing traumatic experiences and finding new ways of engaging in life. I always work collaboratively and at a pace that feels right for you to help you thrive.

I value authenticity, which is why I promise I will always show up as my true self to help clients feel able to do the same. I am here to walk alongside you as you embark on your therapy journey of investing in yourself. If you feel I can help, drop me an email and take the next step to becoming the best version of you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
