About me
I offer counselling, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy for a wide range of issues. I am trained in the pluralistic approach, meaning that I have the experience and flexibility to discuss and offer whichever counselling modality suits you at any particular time. My specialities include anxiety (I am an approved associate for Anxiety UK), self esteem and also bereavement (I have many years experience with Cruse Bereavement Services).

As human beings we are all naturally scared of change and it makes us feel anxious. Sometimes though, change is essential in order for us to be who we want to be. Life is precious and it is so short. If we are unhappy about any aspect of our lives then it makes sense for us to try and change that aspect in order to reach our full potential for happiness and lead the lives that we deserve. Training, qualifications & experience
My background is in Psychology. I have a BA (Hons) in Psychology as well as a Masters Degree in this subject. I am passionate about helping people to make positive changes to their lives. In addition to being a fully qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist I am also a fully trained Hypnotherapist and I can provide this additional service to help with a wide variety of issues. I work as an affiliated partner for Anxiety UK and have also had many years experience in the bereavement sector. My other specialities include confidence and self esteem boosting.
I am fully insured and I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society as well as the National Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy Society, both of which are registered with the Professional Standards Authority. As a member of these bodies I am bound by their strict codes of conduct and their ethical guidelines. I take pride in my work and I care about the well-being of my clients. The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

My fees are currently based at £60 per session (which each last 45 minutes). Sessions can be in person or on-line via zoom.
