About me
Welcome, and thank you for taking a moment to consider how we might embark on a journey of healing and growth together. I'm Karine, the guiding spirit behind Healing Mode, where your mental and emotional well-being is my priority.
My approach to counselling is rooted in the belief that you possess the strength and wisdom to overcome your challenges with the right support and guidance.
I aim to create a supportive and empathetic space where clients can openly explore their thoughts and feelings, working together towards healing and personal growth. A space to explore your thoughts and feelings, where your voice is heard and valued.
Choosing to seek support is a significant step towards healing. If you're navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, or seeking personal growth, I'm here to support you with empathy, offering a tailored approach to light your path to self-discovery and emotional well-being.
Mindfulness and meditation techniques are also available in my toolbox to further support and nurture your whole being.

I am a professionally qualified Integrative Counselor with a psychology degree. My interest in holistic well-being practices, particularly mindfulness and meditation, was sparked by my journey to become a Reiki Master.
Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to working with both adults and young people from diverse backgrounds, assisting them with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship difficulties.
I have practised within a low-cost counselling service in London. I have experience providing counselling and psychotherapy to university students, young people, children and their families dealing with the impacts of sexual violence, whether recent or historical.
I adhere to the BACP code of ethics, attend regular clinical supervision and hold professional indemnity insurance.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
