About me

Are you fed up with battling anxiety, does it sometimes feel like you’ve tried just about everything to sort it out but still it rises up almost out of nowhere?

I can help you understand why you’re feeling anxious and learn how to manage your anxiety so that you can go on to live a life with more contentment.

Anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem are all issues that can seem so isolating and unmanageable but when we allow ourselves to talk about what we’re going through, we can start to heal.

Having experienced bouts of anxiety and depression throughout my life, I’ve developed a passion for helping others learn the skills needed to overcome their own difficulties.

I find helping people to build happier and healthier relationships with themselves and the people around them is a key factor in this.

So, whether you’re coming to counselling to deal with your anxiety, or depression, or to learn what a healthy relationship looks like so that you can go on to have healthy relationships in your future.

Or you’re hoping to stop comparing yourself to others and gain body confidence along the way as you develop a better relationship with yourself.

I will work with you, at your pace to help you feel less anxious or low in mood, grow in confidence, and build happier and healthier relationships so that you can live a life that feels manageable.

I consider myself extremely lucky that I get to work with individuals who trust me to share their stories and I love seeing the changes made along the way.

I hope to hear from you soon

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
