About me

I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist based in Woodbridge, Suffolk. I provide effective, evidence-based psychological therapy for individuals and couples, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Behavioural Couple Therapy (BCT).

In line with current government guidance about social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic, I am currently offering appointments via Skype or telephone only.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Behavioural Couple Therapist. I am also an experienced Clinical Supervisor of other Psychological Therapists.

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. I am a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society. I am also an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).

I have twenty years experience of providing psychological therapy in a variety of settings within the NHS and privately, and have had the privilege of meeting and supporting people from all walks of life. I use evidence-based psychological therapy to help people overcome mental health difficulties ranging from mild to severe.

The types of difficulties I have helped people to overcome have included: anxiety, panic, worry, low self-esteem, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety, trauma, experiences of abuse, relationship difficulties, depression, anger, eating disorders, self-injury, bipolar affective disorder and psychosis. Research indicates that Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is very effective for many mental health problems.
