About me

Welcome to my profile. It can be a daunting journey seeking help for your emotional health. I am quick to respond to enquiries and happy to communicate via phone call or e-mail to give you the information you need to decide whether I am the right person for you. I am a caring, compassionate and engaging person with a wide range of life experience which enables me to connect and relate to people on a deeper level. I am competent in working with anxiety, depression and neurodiversity such as ASD and ADHD. You do not need to be good at art in order to see an art therapist and no previous art experience is required. In a session I am looking for connection, not perfection. There will be times when you don't feel like making art and that is also important to recognize that we can talk.

My approach is based on traditional Psychodynamic theory and I hope to connect in a professional therapeutic relationship in which we discuss emotional/psychological blocks with a sense of curiosity and use art as a tool to provide insight into previous experiences which have brought you to therapy. I am able to meet your unique needs with a sense responsibility and flexibility.

Training, qualifications & experience

I graduated from Roehampton University which is a psychology based training and titled "MA Art Psychotherapy". I am well trained to provide evidence based interventions that will benefit you. I am interested in the impact of early childhood on psychological development and well-being, as well as considering unconscious processes. I approach therapeutic relationships with enthusiasm and compassion. I have benefitted from the relationship between arts and emotional well-being and I hope to share my passion with you.

I have worked with children, young people and adults in a variety of settings. I have worked in therapeutic interventions for children young people and families. I have experience in provide training in mental health topics.
