About me

If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low in confidence or just stuck and don't know how to move forward, you're not alone. Maybe you're wondering if therapy is right for you? All these feelings and thoughts are valid. As a compassionate and intuitive therapist, I provide a space where you can unravel your thoughts, process your emotions, and rediscover your inner strength.

Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, trauma, low self esteem, relationship challenges or major life transitions, I tailor my approach to you. Together we we'll explore what's holding you back and work towards meaningful change, one honest conversation at a time.

If you're feeling stuck, struggling with overwhelming emotions, or just trying to understand and manage life’s hurdles, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to help you navigate it all and build a healthier, more fulfilling life. Let's work together to help you feel more confident, calm, and empowered.

I offer therapy in Exeter in a private and quiet location for face to face sessions. Online sessions are also available. I warmly invite you to a free 15-minute consultation with no obligation to book a session. This is an informal chat that will give us a chance to get to know each other and a space for any questions that you may have.

Experience:

As a therapist, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, each with their unique challenges and journeys. Over the years, I’ve helped individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, struggles with low self-esteem and more. My experience spans across different age groups, backgrounds, and walks of life, which has deepened my understanding of the complexities that come with mental health.

I’ve worked with people facing life transitions, those healing from past trauma, and individuals striving to manage overwhelming emotions like stress and anxiety. Each person I work with is treated with the utmost respect, and I tailor my approach to best support their needs. I believe in the power of building a strong therapeutic relationship, where clients feel seen, heard, and understood.

My approach is grounded in empathy and collaboration. Together, we explore your experiences and work through obstacles at your pace, with a focus on providing you with practical tools for coping, growth, and healing. Whether you're seeking clarity on life’s challenges or looking to make meaningful changes, I am here to support you on that journey.

Besides my private practice, I facilitate weekly mental health support groups for young people aged 11-26 and deliver Mental Health First Aid courses as part of my work for a local charity.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
