About me
Hi, I'm Jen!
I am a queer, neurodivergent, feminist, trauma informed therapist. My experience is mostly within trauma and domestic abuse, as I have worked within refuges. I also have experience in helping clients with other issues such as stress and anxiety, depression, sexuality, gender identity, coping with addictions, neurodivergence, motivation, self esteem, and confidence.
I have a warm relaxed approach which I use to build rapport, and to make you feel comfortable enough to share, explore, and work with what's going on within you. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment, where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
I tailor every session to each client individually, making sure they suit their unique needs, depending on what they are going through. I believe that you are the expert of you, and that you have many strengths and answers within you that will assist you in overcoming the things that challenge you.
Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take a lot courage, and you should be so proud of yourself for doing this! If you think we will be a good fit, I'm here to support and empower you when you're ready.
I look forward to hearing from you :)
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a BA (Hons) in Counselling, suicide awareness training, and experience of working within the domestic abuse and recovery sectors.
