About me

A warm, reliable, and professional therapist dedicated to providing comprehensive, confidential, and dedicated support in exploring and navigating past and present struggles.

In my practice, I work from an integrative approach, focused on always providing you with the best forms of support to fit your personality and approach to life. This means that I have been trained in several psychological approaches. While I may draw from various theories and approaches in our work together, my practice is based in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy, bringing research in therapeutic care together. Whether struggling with depression, anxiety, life adjustments, low self-esteem, trauma, childhood trauma, stress, addiction, personality disorders, symptoms related to neurodiversity, or difficult feelings you cannot quite find words for, there are tools and steps to help find healing and growth. I am dedicated to helping you find these and gain stability and peace in your daily life.

I have worked with individuals of all ages in a variety of settings, including community mental health, schools, addiction rehabilitation facilities and private practice, in person and online. I am currently running my practice online and incorporate talk therapy, psychotherapy, CBT and DBT techniques into my practice.

I am now extending my practice to provide in-home therapy for children (to the end of primary school age). In my work with children I am also able to work from an integrative approach, using elements of person-centered, CBT, and play-therapy to best fit the child based on their age and development. If you are interested in in-home therapy for your child and have questions about how this works, please contact me!

In my work, I have extensive experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, family/relational issues, trauma, stress, ADHD, autism, and other neurodiverse symptoms. I also have experience with addiction, life transitions, grief, OCD, and borderline personality disorder, among others.

Next Steps

Finding the right therapist for you can be a difficult process! If you have questions or are interested in working together, you can contact me via email or phone. We can set up a free, 15 minute consultation, if desired, to see if we work well together, answer questions, and discuss your primary goals for therapy. If at this point you do not feel I am the right fit for you, there would be no obligation to continue.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out!

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
