About me

I am an Integrative Counsellor, supervisor and trainer with over 15 years experience of working with adults, children and young people. Counselling can help you explore and resolve all kinds of difficulties enabling you to manage life more effectively.

I believe that the relationship between the client and their therapist is an important one if you are to explore issues that may be difficult to express or painful to remember. Counselling offers you a safe, confidential, non-judgmental and caring space to explore issues, thoughts, emotions and feelings that have come about as a result of various life events. My aim is to help you understand what may be going on in your life, look at what you might like to change and empower you to do so. It can feel good to be free of the burdens that you originally came in to counselling to address.

As an integrative trained therapist I am able to use different types of approaches to suit different issues and needs. This allows me to help you explore current life changing events which may be affecting you now, but also helps you to explore past experiences that have perhaps remained hidden for some time and you now feel the time is right to explore them in a healthy, safe and trusting environment.

I have over 15 years experience of working with adults, young people and children including play therapy for small children with a range of art materials to support the process.

I run a very successful training centre offering professional development workshops and qualification training at my centre in Rainham.

Our centre is in a very peaceful and tranquil setting to aid a confidential, quiet and healing space for you to explore difficult feelings and emotions. We are following all the current COVID advice ensuring that all our therapy rooms are adhering to the current government guidelines allowing us to carry out face to face sessions safely, however, if you prefer, we are able to offer sessions via zoom.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

We are able to accommodate wheelchair users.
