About me
I am an Integrative Counsellor, supervisor and trainer with over 20 years experience of working with adults, children and young people. Counselling can help you explore and resolve all kinds of difficulties enabling you to manage life more effectively.
I believe that the relationship between the client and their therapist is an important one if you are to explore issues that may be difficult to express or painful to remember. Counselling offers you a safe, confidential, non-judgmental and caring space to explore issues, thoughts, emotions and feelings that have come about as a result of various life events. My aim is to help you understand what may be going on in your life, look at what you might like to change and empower you to do so. It can feel good to be free of the burdens that you originally came in to counselling to address.
As an integrative trained therapist I am able to use different types of approaches to suit different issues and needs. This allows me to help you explore current life changing events which may be affecting you now, but also helps you to explore past experiences that have perhaps remained hidden for some time and you now feel the time is right to explore them in a healthy, safe and trusting environment.
I have over 20 years experience of working with adults, young people and children including play therapy for small children with a range of art materials to support the process.
I run a very successful training centre offering professional development workshops and qualification training at my centre in Rainham.
Our centre is in a very peaceful and tranquil setting to aid a confidential, quiet and healing space for you to explore difficult feelings and emotions.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
