About me

Hiya!

⭐️ My first session FREE to decide if I’m the right counsellor for you :) absolutely no pressure to rebook. Have you been experiencing anxiety /worry and depression lately or had a recent mental health diagnosis? . Are you experiencing low self esteem and feel like you’re unable to manage your emotions in the way you would like?. Are you feeling sad, isolated and alone because of this. Please don't feel like you have to do this alone. There is nothing too small or big to bring to therapy.

 I'm aware that deciding whether Counselling is right for you can be daunting, and I'm sure you have many questions. This is why I offer a first free session so that you can come along for a session and see for yourself whether I’m right for you and ask any questions, if need be.

I am human, as you are, and so I really do pride myself on being genuine, open and honest and my job as a therapist is to make you feel comfortable in the room and then help you on your journey to overcome or manage whatever it is life has thrown your way.

I feel very passionate about the work I do with each of you, and so I can assure you that my main focus is you and your journey.

Why would you choose me over someone else?
An Important part of counselling and its process is choosing the right Counsellor for you. This is where you can feel safe and heard and the knowing that the Counsellors main focus is you and your well being.

So by entering into the counselling process with myself I can assure :-

* Equality
* Safe and confidential
* Review of therapy on a regular basis to ensure your getting the best out of the sessions
* Honesty
* Transparency
* Genuineness
* Non - Judgemental
* Due to the knowledge I have of different therapies it enables me to work in a way where I can adapt to suit your needs as a client.

I offer a private and confidential practice based within a well established counselling practice and I abide by the code of ethics that are put in place by the British Association of Counselling & psychotherapy.
I also have valid Insurance.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
