About me

Welcome.

I’m Gareth and I offer you a safe, comforting and nurturing space to explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions.

I’m a qualified and experienced integrative counsellor and psychotherapist and I’m delighted you are here. My practice is located in Tenterden, Kent offering in person, online and telephone counselling services.

Sessions are priced at £50.

My Approach

During our meetings, you can expect to be heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I strongly believe in the power of empathy and its profound impact on the therapeutic process. By fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental environment, my aim is to help you gain insight, clarity, and a deeper understanding of yourself.

As an integrative counsellor, I blend a range of approaches and techniques to tailor our sessions to your specific needs. Issues I commonly help with include anxiety, depression, low self esteem, family issues, trauma and low self confidence.

Furthermore, I am a registered member of The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), and I adhere to their Code of Ethics.

My Philosophy

Driven by a genuine passion for helping others, and drawing upon my extensive training and practice in psychotherapy, I bring a warm, comforting, and calming presence to our therapeutic relationship.

I firmly believe that a compassionate connection acts as a catalyst for personal growth and empowerment enabling us to navigate your challenges together with empathy and understanding.

What Happens Next

We begin with a complimentary 15 minute consultation.

This is designed to give you the space to explore how my services may support you.

I have experience working with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self esteem, family issues, trauma and low self confidence. I will be able to answer any questions you may have about me, my services and how counselling may benefit you.

In addition, our initial conversations will provide a valuable opportunity to develop an initial therapy plan tailored to your unique needs. Together, we’ll discuss your goals, concerns, and desired outcomes, which will help us determine the number of sessions that feels right for you.
