About me
I believe that authenticity is essential for building deep and genuine connections. In our work together, I approach our relationship as a collaborator, not as an authority figure. This allows us to create a space rooted in equality, where your voice is heard and valued. I also believe in expressing my own emotions when appropriate, to strengthen the therapeutic bond between us, which is why laughter can sometimes be part of my practice. I want you to know that I’m a fellow human, navigating life’s challenges right alongside you, embracing the messiness and complexity of it all.
There are so many reasons why people seek therapy, this could be due to relationship difficulties, parenting struggles, suicidal thoughts, or general low mood. I understand that taking the first step can be hard, and finding the right counsellor for you is important.
Counselling is about exploring past, present, and future parts of ourselves, enabling us to understand our patterns of behaviours, our beliefs, and our deepest thoughts. I offer a confidential space where every story is valued.
I am an integrated counsellor who draws on techniques from different types of therapies to tailor an approach specifically for you. I would describe myself as a calm, friendly, and bubbly individual who believes that honesty, transparency, and authenticity is key within the therapeutic relationship.
I currently work with adults and young people and have experience working within schools, charities, and numerous organisations.
After you have made contact with myself, we can arrange a telephone chat to get to know one another, so you can decide if I am the right counsellor for you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
