About me

Life can throw challenges our way leaving us feeling stuck, afflicted, confused, lonely and in pain. Finding our way through strenuous times can feel overwhelming and sometimes even undoable. Therapy can help you to replenish your inner resources, heal your emotional hurts and support your resilience to work through challenging times. Therapy sessions can provide a space to explore your inner tensions in a warm, caring and non-judgmental environment, enabling you to heal, deepen your self-awareness and discover new insight. Therapy can help you to make positive changes for a wholesome and fulfilling life - full of love, joy and inspiration.

My approach is client-centred, trauma-informed and underpinned by empathy and compassion. I am an integrative therapist, able to draw from a range of different therapeutic approaches to suit my client’s individual needs. I tailor my approach based on the client’s specific goals and strengths ensuring each person experiences therapy that is a good fit for them, and most importantly, empowering.

I commit to providing confidentiality, empathy and acceptance, cultural competence, and non-judgement to all my clients.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified, integratively trained therapeutic counsellor. I attend regular supervision sessions to ensure my work is ethical, safe, and in the best interest of my clients. I consistently engage in continued personal and professional development to enhance my practice. I have a particular interest and regularly develop my knowledge in working with trauma and attachment.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
