About me

Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I am a professional and approachable therapist, who has a passion to help people overcome difficulties, helping them to live a happier and more fulfilled life.

I have over 20 years of experience working with people facing difficulties and supporting them to find solutions. As an integrative therapist, I draw on several different models of therapy to try and help you. Everyone is different which is why I tailor my approach to each individual client. Some of the models of therapy that I use include person-centred therapy, solution-focused therapy and CBT.

I aim to help you achieve your goal, whether that's to overcome a traumatic moment from your past or to help you come to terms with the loss of a loved one. I continue to take training to help me understand all the different types of difficulties we face as people and effective ways to overcome this.

I believe that everyone can grow and make positive changes, sometimes we just need some support. I hope that by working together we can learn more about what is going on and find ways to make positive changes in your life.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
