About me
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious or stuck in unhelpful patterns?
You're not alone - and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. I'm Craig, a qualified counsellor based in Trowbridge. Over the past three years, I’ve carried out more than 650 sessions with people facing anxiety, low self-worth, trauma, and major life changes. My approach is calm, down to earth, and focused on helping you feel more in control of your thoughts, emotions, and direction in life.
Why I became a counsellor
My interest in counselling started through my own experience of making sense of difficult emotions and life struggles. That personal journey gave me a deep respect for the courage it takes to sit with someone and talk honestly. It’s what drives me to create a space that’s steady, accepting, and genuinely supportive - without pressure or judgement.
How I work
I draw from a mix of person-centred counselling, CBT, and mindfulness-based approaches. We’ll tailor the sessions to suit what you need - whether it’s talking things through, learning coping methods, or understanding yourself better. We go at your pace.
What clients often say
People usually describe me as calm, easy to talk to, and honest. My priority is to make sure you feel safe, heard, and supported. Therapy doesn’t have to be intense or formal - it can be a simple, consistent space to figure things out.
Next steps
If you're considering therapy, I offer a free 20 minute telephone call to help you decide if we’re a good fit with no obligation to begin counselling.
