About me

Hi I'm Corry (her/she). Gay adoptive mum and crisp lover!

It's Corrine really and this nickname stuck because years ago I wouldn't miss an episode of Coronation Street.

I offer Individual's and Couple's Therapy and I have a particular passion for LGBTQ+ inclusivity, Adoption and Relationships.

I work face-to-face with people from aged 18 through my private practice in Hull City Centre.

I am a down to earth, experienced professional who loves to work with real people on real issues.

My outlook is friendly, warm and honest with a side salad of humour.

I am here to help you through my GENUINE INTEREST IN YOU and ACCEPTANCE OF YOU.

I think finding the right therapist is key and my clients agree. I've had a couple of therapists for years now and they've helped me to understand that I needed to tell my story, in my way, in my own time so that I could make sense of who I am and what I've experienced. I needed them to care about that too - which is really hard to do when trusting myself and other people was my biggest hurdle.

In a nutshell I wanted to feel better about myself and my life and that's the opportunity my clients have when we work together!

I've benefited hugely from being with a therapist who I can trust, someone who is genuinely curious, accepting and has the warmth, skills and professionalism to help me reflect and consider new perspectives. I offer this to you!

Whether you want to work on something in particular or you feel the need to vent or explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviour - I offer you a chance to feel cared about.

If you are ready to talk, hearing your story matters to me - let’s get curious together!

I offer a free 30 minute consultation, get in touch to find out more.

I look forward to welcoming you at my comfortable and secure private therapy room that my clients tell me feels like getting a warm hug.
