About me
Life is busy and can be challenging at times. You may be feeling such a range of emotions you simply don't know where to begin. Counselling can allow you to work through some of the challenges you face.
I am a BACP registered Person Centred Counsellor who has worked extensively with young people aged 10+ and adults in a variety of settings.
My focus is to create a safe, trusting and non-judgemental space for you to explore at your own pace the feelings that are at the root of your concerns. Together we can process these emotions or experiences and begin to make sense of them.

It is really important that you find the right counsellor for you. I also appreciate that this may not be done simply by looking at my profile page.
When I receive an inquiry I provide a free of charge 20 minute chat on the phone to introduce myself and understand in more detail how we may be able to work together.
When the enquiry is to work with someone who is under the age of 18 this conversation would extend to speaking with both the young person and a parent/carer.
During our first session, we will continue to establish how we will work together by identifying what has brought you to seek counselling and what boundaries can be implemented to ensure you feel safe.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a BACP registered member.
I currently run a busy private practice based in Chalfont Saint Peter, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire.
The environment that I can offer is private, calm and spacious.
Before this, I worked in a variety of agency settings including roles as a school counsellor. This has enabled me to work with clients who experience a broad range of needs and issues.
I am qualified and offer online or telephone counselling.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
