About me

Life can sometimes leave us feeling confused, scared or just fed up and quite often not being able to pinpoint the exact reason why. Being allowed the time and space to share whatever is on your mind can allow you to unscramble those thoughts and make some sense of your feelings.

I offer you a relaxing, safe, confidential and non judgemental environment to help you become a happier, healthier you.

I offer therapy at affordable rates, starting with a free 20-minute initial telephone consultation that will provide you with the opportunity to tell me a little more about yourself and what you wish to work on in therapy and help you decide if I am the right counsellor for you. It will also allow me to assess what type of therapy may work best for you.

Sessions are 1 hour in length at a cost of £45 per session. I am able to offer reduced rates for full time students or those on a low income as I believe everyone should have the option of seeking counselling, regardless of your financial situation.

I run my own private practice located in Stalybridge. I work from a relaxing therapy room which looks out onto my garden and will allow you to relax and feel at ease in quiet, comfortable surroundings. I use talking therapy to help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, loss, relationship issues and much more.

I am an advocate for men's mental health and offer a safe and confidential environment that allows men to come and talk about their worries, without the judgement that men quite often feel they may receive when talking about their struggles.

I also have a keen interest in childlessness and infertility and can provide support to people who find themselves on this journey. Childlessness can be through infertility or choice and I offer support to people at any point in their journey, including support through your choice or next steps.

I am a member of both the National Counselling Society and the National Hypnotherapy Society and adhere to their guidelines and ethical framework.
