About me
Hello and welcome to my profile page. I work from my peaceful therapy room in Bowerchalke within the beautiful Chalke Valley. There’s free parking and an ensuite bathroom; there are no stairs to navigate, making access easy. Sessions cost £55 an hour. Support animals are very welcome too.
At the heart of my work is a trusting therapeutic relationship built on empathy, respect and acceptance. I aim to offer a warm and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, relationship difficulties or a sense of feeling overwhelmed and stuck, we can work together to make sense of what is happening and consider what might help.
You may also feel anxious or unsettled by the current state of the world, finding it hard to switch off from the constant flow of difficult news and have concerns about the future.
Therapy can help you make sense of what's happening for you and find a way forward.
While I work with adults facing a wide range of challenges, I have a particular interest in supporting women in midlife and later life who are navigating change, uncertainty or a renewed search for meaning and direction.
Midlife can be a time of change, sometimes gradual, sometimes unexpected. You may find yourself feeling unsettled in ways that are hard to explain. Perhaps you have always coped, held things together, but now something feels different. There can often be shifts in relationships, work, and your identity - a growing sense that something no longer feels right. For many women this stage of life isn't just about change; it's about re-evaluating who you are and how you want to live. I can offer space to pause, reflect and reconnect with yourself and discover what matters to you now.
I offer short-term and long-term counselling sessions, both face-to-face and online. My practice in Bowerchalke is conveniently located on the borders of Wiltshire, Hampshire, and Dorset. After a few initial face-to-face sessions, Walk-and-Talk Therapy is also available.
Choosing a therapist can feel daunting but if something you've read here resonates with you, you're very welcome to get in touch.
I offer a free 15-minute phone or Zoom initial call where we can chat about what brings you to therapy and whether working together feels right for you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
