About me
For many of us life can be stressful, confusing and often upsetting and by talking to someone who is not emotionally involved can really help. My aim is to help you manage and process your thoughts and feelings and help you make any behavioural changes needed to move forward to a brighter future.
I am a warm, friendly and approachable Mum and Nan based in Aldwick, Bognor Regis, West Sussex. I have experience working as a People Manager in Retail where the main qualities I needed to demonstrate were respect for human values, personal integrity and empathy. I also have experience in coaching, mentoring and the development of colleagues and this along with living through some personal traumas led me towards counselling.
I now hold an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and a certificate in Hypnotherapy and Counselling (Cert Hyp CS). I am a registered member of both the National Hypnotherapy Society and National Counselling Society and abide by their Code of Ethics.
I specialise in both short and long term person-centred counselling, using an integrative approach which puts you, the client, at the centre of the counselling relationship and we will work at your pace.
I have a comfortable and relaxing therapy room in my home and I am happy to book sessions by appointment for Afternoons, evenings and weekends.

I have 20 years experience working as a People Manager which involved coaching, mentoring and developing colleagues to be the best they could be. I have excellent listening skills and believe that everyone should be treated as equal and have the opportunity to grow.
