About me
I am a person-centred psychotherapist working with adults and young people. I have an integrative style which means that I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to suit your needs.
You will find a safe and welcoming space and be treated with kindness. Therapy is all about you and an opportunity for you to share in a confidential and non-judgemental place, we will work together at your pace.
I work with adults, students & young people (Age 7 to 18). I work with neurodiverse Adults and Young People and provide additional support and adapt therapy sessions to take into account sensory needs, communication and processing styles.
I can help with anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, bereavement, work related stress, bullying, trauma, PTSD.

- Level 4 CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
- Level One training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP)
- Understanding Autism Level 2 (N Warwickshire & Leicestershire College)
- Understanding autism, asperges and ADHD (University of Derby)
- Bereavement support for children and young people (CRUSE)
- Self-Harm Level 3 Advanced. Suicide prevention. Suicide bereavement. (Harmless and the Tomorrow Project)
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Sessions are usually on the same day and time, weekly or fortnightly to suit you. I understand that this might not work for everyone, and I will do my best to work around your schedule.

My office is located in, The Market Place, Kegworth, Leicestershire. (5 mins drive from junction 23a /24 of the M1). Parking is available.
I have over 25 years of experience working with adults and young people in a variety of settings, including working with individuals who have social, emotional, and complex needs.
I have both personal involvement and professional experience working with looked after and foster children.
I believe that developing trust and feeling safe is an essential part of the therapeutic journey. I have an integrative style and draw from a variety of approaches to suit you and will work with you to enable you to feel safe and comfortable.
When working with young people, I will explore their interests with them, and therapy sessions can include, art, music, jewellery making, crafts, kicking a football, games and more.
