About me

I'm a BACP-registered qualified counsellor (Level 5) offering person-centred therapy to adults. I work with people from all walks of life and backgrounds. Whether you're experiencing low mood, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or feelings of isolation, disconnection, or being misunderstood—I’m here to help you make sense of your experience and feel more in tune with yourself.

You don’t have to face things alone. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you're returning to it, I offer warmth, safety and genuine support as you take this step.

As a person-centred counsellor, I believe that you are the expert on your own experience. I offer you a safe, non-judgemental and empathic space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and identity at your own pace. This may include parts of yourself you’ve felt unable to express in everyday life due to societal pressure or fear of judgement.

I bring not only professional training but also lived experience of neurodivergence (as I am autistic and ADHD) and childhood trauma. I know how it feels to carry the belief that something is “wrong” with you, and how powerful it can be to challenge and transform that narrative. This deep understanding fuels my passion for supporting others who feel similarly.

Feel free to get in touch to see whether we might be a good fit to work together. Whether you decide to work with me or not, I wish you all the best in your counselling journey and hope you find the right counsellor for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information

Counselling sessions are 60 minutes long and cost between £50 and £70 per session, depending on your individual circumstances and needs.

I offer a free 15–30 minute introductory call or Zoom meeting, giving us the opportunity to discuss what you are looking for from counselling and whether we feel we would be a good fit to work together.

If you decide you would like to start counselling together, your first counselling appointment will last 60 minutes and is charged at £50. During this session, we will go through the counselling contract and complete an initial assessment together. We will also discuss and agree on an ongoing session fee that feels manageable for you, within the £50–£70 range.
