About me
A very warm welcome! My name is Kaan and I am a Clinical Psychologist and accredited CBT therapist and EMDR therapist, specialising in working with adults with a range of mental health difficulties, from anxiety and low mood, stress and burnout, difficulties regulating and managing emotions to trauma related difficulties. With 15 years of experience in the mental health, I have had the privilege of working with clients dealing with a wide range of issues and I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate their challenges and find healing and growth in their lives. I offer both short and long-term therapy online or in person, at my clinic in Liverpool Street, Central London.
My approach to therapy is rooted in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement and Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), which allows me to tailor my methods to meet each client’s unique needs. I firmly believe that therapy is a collaborative journey, and my goal is to create a safe and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions and experiences. I strive to build a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy and respect, as I believe it forms the foundation for a meaningful change.
Throughout our sessions, we will work together to identify the underlying causes of your challenges, develop effective coping strategies, and empower you to make positive changes in your life. My aim is to provide you with practical tools and insights that you can apply both in and outside of therapy to support your personal growth and well-being.
I understand that taking the first step to seek therapy can be challenging, but please know that you don’t have to face your difficulties alone. I am here to support you every step of the way. If you are ready to embark on this journey of self-discovery and healing, I would be honoured to work with you.
If you have any questions or would like to schedule an initial consultation session, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can contact me on my email address/phone number on this website. I look forward to the opportunity to be part of your journey towards a happier and more fulfilling life.
