About me
Life can be painful, confusing, or overwhelming, making us feel anxious, depressed, or lonely. As licensed counsellor and registered BACP member, I offer to be a guide through your life’s challenges. I provide a supportive and professional space for you to share and be heard.
My style is empathetic, respectful, and honest in my feedback. Together, we work through emotional struggles, psychological blocks, and existential dilemmas to connect to a solid sense of self, a meaningful life and relationships.
I offer a free consultation session to explore what you need and what it would be like to work together. Just send me a message or email requesting a session.
My counselling approach is an integrative model (integrating different therapeutic styles) depending on your circumstances and needs. In addition, to talk therapy, we will utilise creative techniques to explore all aspects of our being—body, mind, feelings, and spirit—including meaning and values.
My main modality is psychodynamic and psychosynthesis psychotherapy, with roots in the psychoanalytic tradition. This basically means that we explore what has happened to better understand what happens in your current life to allow for meaningful change. We will explore unconscious patterns, believes and perceptions and identify how they affect your current behaviours, thoughts, and relationships. My approach is further influenced by attachment theory, trauma, and complex trauma research and treatment approaches.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling from the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London and a PGDip Psychosynthesis Psychology from Middlesex University.
I have work experience as a Mental Health Support Worker assisting people with psychological disorders.
I have volunteered with Pegasus – Men’s Wellbeing Centre providing counselling services.
In addition, I hold a BA from Maastricht University and a MSc from the London School of Economics in the field of political and social science with work experience in the public sector, corporate governance and entrepreneurship.
I have clinical supervision on a monthly basis to ensure I am working ethically and safely in accordance with the current BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. This ensures good practice allowing us to get the most out of our sessions together.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
