About me

Hello, I’m Andy.
Do you need help? Are you feeling sad? Don't struggle alone any longer - I'm here to help you. Give me a call now or email me - I will always get back to you quickly.

FREE NO-OBLIGATION 30 min INITIAL CONSULTATION by Zoom or Phone.

FACE-TO-FACE OR REMOTE COUNSELLING.

Maybe you are experiencing some really difficult things in your life right now and you don’t want to worry your friends and family with how you feel. Do you need someone to talk to? Whatever you’re struggling with, I’m here to help and only a phone call or email away. With a little help, you may be surprised by what you can achieve to feel better. Contact me now and let me help you.

I offer face-to-face and remote counselling and psychotherapy in Lancaster. I also offer remote counselling (Zoom, Whatsapp, Email) nationally.

You can call me, confident in the knowledge that I will listen with respect and acknowledge your feelings and there is no obligation to continue into counselling if you don’t want to and your initial call will be completely free of charge. You can take advantage of  a 30 min initial consultation with me by Zoom or phone, which will also be free of charge, giving you peace of mind that you have made the right decision prior to making any financial commitment to counselling. It will give you the chance to see how it feels to make your worries known to someone else and whether talking to a counsellor feels right for you and I will answer any questions you have. Otherwise, you can move straight into counselling with me if you feel ready. Let me help you as you take what may be your first step into counselling.

A little bit about me…

Before entering the world of counselling and psychotherapy I was in the IT industry for many years, engaged in engineering, consultancy and management. I’m a family man and value the well-being of those around me. Over the years I’ve seen first-hand how life can sometimes throw us off course, particularly when bad things happen. I’ve learned that our past experiences can have a profound effect on our lives today: the way we feel, cope and act, particularly when put under stress. Sometimes it’s not at all clear how we came to feel the way we do and at other times it’s obvious. In any case, when we need to make sense of it and feel relief from distress, whatever form that takes, talking about it seems to be the last thing we want to do. In my experience, however, talking about it is a fundamentally good thing and talking about it to a professional counsellor like me is even better. Your past experiences do not have to define your present or your future. I’m able to help you make sense of how you feel and to bring a fresh perspective. You have the power to change how you feel and I can help you do it.

If you choose to continue into counselling with me we will meet regularly in one of my counselling rooms, privately and with the promise of confidentiality. We can also work remotely via video or telephone if that is more appropriate to your circumstances. I’ll do everything I can to provide a relaxed environment where you can express and explore your feelings. We will review our progress regularly and, together, we will move towards positive change and relief from whatever distress you are currently feeling. Let me help you. Call me today and take the first step to feeling better.

More about my work...
