About me

I am a warm and empathetic counsellor offering face-to-face and online counselling in central Winchester, with convenient parking available. I also provide Walk and Talk Therapy, combining the benefits of movement and nature with therapeutic conversation—ideal if you find being outdoors helps you process your thoughts. My services are open to all adults (18+).

I offer a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, helping you move forward in your life. Together, we will work towards enhancing your overall well-being.

I believe that with the right time, space, and empathy, individuals have the capacity to grow and create meaningful change.

For a unique approach, I also offer a one-off creative journaling session—an alternative way to express and process your thoughts and emotions.

 If you are experiencing:

 - Anxiety or depression
 - Relationship or family challenges
 - The aftermath of trauma
 - Low self-esteem or self-confidence
 - Work or life stress
 - Difficulty coping with change
 - Uncertainty about the future
 - Distress in a particular situation
 - Feeling stuck in life

I can support you in creating the change or understanding you need. I offer the option of creative experiments, using objects or drawing techniques to explore your concerns from a different perspective. If this approach isn’t for you, I provide a safe and supportive space to listen and help you navigate your experiences.

My clients often describe feeling more motivated, resilient, and lighter after counselling.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to its professional standards and ethical guidelines. I also engage in regular supervision and continuous professional development to ensure the highest quality of care.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • As a Gestalt Counsellor, I am committed to understanding your unique experiences and exploring how the world and its events impact you. I recognize that you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you in examining your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs to foster growth and transformation. My approach focuses on increasing self-awareness, helping you recognize patterns of behavior, and facilitating meaningful change. I provide a safe, supportive space, respecting your pace and boundaries throughout the process.

If you are interested in journaling as a creative and mindful way to process your thoughts and emotions, I would be happy to incorporate this into our work together.

Additionally, as a Walk and Talk Therapist, I offer the option of outdoor counselling sessions, providing a dynamic and reflective environment for our discussions.

My experience includes working with adults (18+) in both university and charitable settings, supporting individuals facing challenges such as life transitions, loss, depression, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, and feelings of inadequacy. I also have experience working with past trauma, sexuality, and relationship difficulties.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
