About me

Finding the right therapist is an important step.
If you're feeling ready for change or facing something difficult, I’m here to support you. I offer a calm, compassionate space to explore what you’re going through—whether that’s outdoors with Walk and Talk Therapy or indoors in a safe, welcoming counselling room. My approach is grounded, supportive, and always tailored to your unique needs. Wherever you are on your journey, we can walk through it together.

I am a warm and empathetic counsellor based in central Winchester, offering face-to-face and online sessions for adults (18+). Convenient parking is available. In addition to traditional counselling, I offer Walk and Talk Therapy—combining the benefits of movement and nature with therapeutic conversation. This can be especially helpful if you find that being outdoors supports your ability to reflect and process emotions.

Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and life experiences, helping you move forward and enhance your overall well-being.

I believe that with the right time, space, and empathy, individuals have the capacity to grow, heal, and create meaningful change.

For a unique therapeutic experience, I also offer a one-off Creative Journaling Session—a gentle, expressive way to explore your inner world through guided writing and reflection.

I can support you if you're experiencing:

  • Anxiety or depression
  • Relationship or family challenges
  • The aftermath of trauma
  • Low self-esteem or confidence
  • Work or life-related stress
  • Difficulty coping with change
  • Uncertainty about the future
  • Emotional distress in a specific situation
  • A sense of feeling stuck in life

If you're open to it, I offer creative ways to work through your concerns—using drawing techniques or objects to help you view things from a new perspective. If this approach isn’t for you, that’s absolutely fine. My priority is offering a respectful, accepting space where you feel truly heard and supported.

Clients often share that they feel lighter, more resilient, and more motivated after counselling.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within its ethical guidelines. I also undertake regular supervision and continuous professional development to ensure I offer the highest standard of care.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • As a Gestalt Counsellor, I am committed to understanding your unique experiences and exploring how the world and its events impact you. I recognize that you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you in examining your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs to foster growth and transformation. My approach focuses on increasing self-awareness, helping you recognize patterns of behavior, and facilitating meaningful change. I provide a safe, supportive space, respecting your pace and boundaries throughout the process.

If you are interested in journaling as a creative and mindful way to process your thoughts and emotions, I would be happy to incorporate this into our work together.

Additionally, as a Walk and Talk Therapist, I offer the option of outdoor counselling sessions, providing a dynamic and reflective environment for our discussions.

My experience includes working with adults (18+) in both university and charitable settings, supporting individuals facing challenges such as life transitions, loss, depression, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, and feelings of inadequacy. I also have experience working with past trauma, sexuality, and relationship difficulties.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
