Amanda Jeffries MA, MSt, UKCP (accred), MBACP
235 Cowley Road
I offer short term and long term counselling and psychotherapy in a consulting room close to central Oxford. I deal with Issues including depression, loss, anger, anxiety, relationship and mental health difficulties, as well as exploring who you are and life directions.
You may be seeking help because you are going through a period of crisis or pain, or because you have felt stuck, anxious or depressed for some time. There may be past or present issues or relationship that you feel the need to explore. You may have experienced, or be starting to experience, mental health difficulties. My core approach is psychodynamic, which means that we will work together to get to the root of current or ongoing issues, and try to make sense of them and work through the feelings involved. My aim is to offer the right balance of support and challenge to help you move forward, understand yourself better, and discover more satisfying ways of thinking, feeling, relating and living.
I work in a quiet ground floor consulting room in a clinic with disabled access. It is on a bus route and there is free 2-hour parking nearby.
