About me
Hi there and welcome!
I currently have a few slots available throughout the week, feel free to get in contact if you're looking to begin therapy.
I am a qualified Integrative Relational Therapist. My practice as a therapist is progressive, forward thinking and combines different therapeutic tools and approaches to suit you. Therapy with me is very much a bespoke and organic process. My aim is for you to leave therapy feeling empowered, confident and capable to tackle life's obstacles.
I have been working with clients in therapy since 2014 and I have worked with an array of different topics such as anxiety, depression, grief, loss, low self esteem, confidence concerns, alcohol and substance use, relationship concerns, bullying & redundancy worries and much more.
Alongside the above, my practice is also focused around neurodiversity (neurodivergent myself), body diversity, appearance diversity and visible differences. I am also a strong advocate for adoptee voices and currently work with adult adoptees to work through the difficulties that they may experience across their life time.
I welcome anyone seeking a space to explore how they relate to themselves, others and with the world.
My work with you will centre around exploring how you relate to yourself and others, helping you to work through difficult emotions and reducing and removing elements of societal shame that aren't yours to hold. My hope is to provide you with a space that is safe and non-judgemental so that you can process thoughts and emotions at your own pace.
My work is predominantly online - A lot of clients like having the opportunity to work through their own concerns and difficulties in the comfort of their own environment.

Training, qualifications & experience
Experience
Ten years of experience working face to face with clients from all walks of life, bringing a wide range of topics to work through in therapy.
Previously a senior practitioner and assessor for a low cost counselling & psychotherapy charity in Bristol, working with individuals exploring their relationship with alcohol and substance use.
Co-founder and therapist at Reframe Talking Therapies. Grown from my own private practice, Reframe is a counselling and psychotherapy practice that supports individuals affected by forms of difference (e.g. appearance diversity, relationship diversity and neurodiversity). We are neurodivergent run and all therapists have lived experience of neurodivergence and/or disability. This is the practice I work under as a therapist, however your initial enquiry comes straight through to me and only me.
Qualifications
Certificate in Adoption Counselling (2024).
Qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist - trained as an Integrative Relational Therapist at the University of the West of England (2014 - 2016).

Registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy).
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Areas of counselling I deal with
Other areas of counselling I deal with
A more focussed area for me as a therapist surrounds working with clients who have visible differences, e.g. scars, limb differences, cleft palettes, burns, birth mark's, rare medical associations. Individuals identifying with visible difference tend to have an appearance that differs slightly from the 'norm'.
They may or may not identify as disabled, may spend time 'hiding' their difference under clothing or make up to 'pass' as able bodied within social settings. They may also struggle at times with social anxiety and self esteem and confidence.
This area of work is personal to me and I am incredibly passionate supporting individuals who feel fit into this identification.
