I am a counselling psychologist who can work with a range of issues or circumstances which may be affecting your wellbeing. My ambition is to support people in living well, to embrace and manage the inevitable distress that is part of the human condition. Life experiences or circumstances which affect our wellbeing may include low mood, anxiety, stress, dependencies, relationship difficulties, traumatic experiences, bereavement, loss, life transitions, illness. I recognise the challenges in managing life responsibilities including caring for others, work stresses, debt and money worries.
I am trained in person-centred and cognitive behavioural therapies. I work with you to identify which therapeutic approach may be appropriate for you and your goals. I utilise a therapeutic space in Glasgow city centre. Often people find it difficult finding time for themselves. The centrally located therapy room allows people who work in Glasgow to discreetly take time from work, as appointments can be offered before, during and after office hours.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a counselling psychologist who is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). The title of counselling psychologist is protected. I adhere to professional and practice guidelines to ensure safe, ethical practice. You can find out more information about my practice and your rights from the HCPC.
I am a Chartered Psychologist who is registered with the British Psychological Society. You may have confidence in my psychological expertise as indicated by the legally protected title of Chartered Psychologist. The British Psychological Society offers more information and holds a register of chartered psychologists.
I have a breadth of experience working psychologically with individuals in NHS and third sector sectors, working with a broad range of psychological issues.

Fifty minute sessions are £80. How many sessions would depend entirely upon your needs and goals. Following your complimentary consultation, an assessment session shapes how we work together and for how long.
