Philomena Forsyth Dip Couns, MBACP (Accred)
Life can be tough at times and it can be difficult to know where to turn. You may be experiencing low mood or anxiety or changes in your behaviour is reaction to issues in your life. My aim as your counsellor is to provide you with a safe, caring and confidential space where you would have time to make sense of any difficulties or distress that you may be experiencing. I do not give you advice but offer a supportive environment where you can develop greater self-awareness and make changes to your life. I believe that you are the expert in your life and I will always respect that.
I am a qualified counsellor and an Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. As a member of the BACP I am committed to continual personal and professional development and abide by their code of ethics for good practice.
One of the reasons I trained as a counsellor was that I have had my own therapy and know from experience how helpful it can be.
As you are reading this it would appear that you have taken the first step to making changes in your life. If you would like further information please call me and leave a message on my confidential voicemail or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will be in contact.
