Leena Kothari-Seward (BSc, UKCP Reg, MBACP)
I am an Existential Psychotherapist committed to helping my clients explore their issues through a therapeutic relationship based on trust, honesty and respect. The existential approach lends itself naturally to taking a holistic view of oneself, ones relationships and ones place in the world. Sessions last 50 minutes and take place in a secure and peaceful setting.
Through the therapy process, I can offer:
- empathetic, non-judgemental listening
- honest, open dialogue to explore your values, meanings, choices and assumptions
- a philosophical perspective to enhance self-awareness and understanding
This approach offers a powerful means by which you can re-evaluate your issues and create positive, sustainable change. Over the years I have helped many people transform what may have started as a crisis, into an opportunity for personal growth and increased well-being.
With an academic background in science, many years working as a City technology analyst and first hand experience of parenting and inter-cultural issues, I believe I bring a rich and diverse range of personal experience to my practice.
