David Woodward, Online, telephone and face-to-face counsellor (BA. MNCS.)
About me
Covid-19
I am now offering online counselling (Skype, Messenger, Whatsapp, etc.) as well as face-to-face counselling with appropriate social distancing. I try to be as flexible as I can with times and work some mornings and afternoons and at least three evenings a week. Online couple counselling can even be done with the couple in separate locations.
Areas where I can help
Specialising in marriage, couple and relationship issues I have 34 years counselling experience. Trust, infidelity, communication, conflict, anger, forgiveness, 'active listening', personality types, etc. are just some of the relationship issues I deal with.
Anxiety, depression, anger management and internet issues are also areas where I have a great deal of counselling experience and expertise. I am also the BUPA counsellor for the Kettering area.
I came into counselling through working through some of my own issues (true for most counsellors I think) and find I have a real heart to help people out. I enjoy seeing peoples' lives change for the better and when couples have children, I am particularly keen to try and help save the relationship. I integrate different counselling styles, look at personality types and background, give 'homework' if people are agreeable to it and draw on 34 years of extensive experience (including being a G.P.'s counsellor, a prison counsellor and a Social Services family counsellor).
