About me
Experiencing unwanted, anxious feelings that are getting in the way of how you live each day?
- Unhappy in your closest relationships and looking for more?
- Questioning your ability to go to work and fulfil the job you're expected to do?
- Anxious about how you're going to cope with all that's coming your way?
Thoughts from things in the past resurface reminding you of things you'd rather forget?
- Questioning yourself and going over and over what to do, how things could have been different, will life ever be ok again?
- Wondering who you can talk to?
- Who'll have the time to listen? Who can help?
Life going OK then suddenly something happens?
Unlike many Counsellors I have a great number of therapeutic tools to add to your counselling experience. Bringing the balanced approach of theory and lived experience, I work from a Person-Centred foundation blending Counselling, EMDR, Hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Time Line Therapy, Transactional Analysis informed Couples Therapy, Sexual Freedom Hypnotherapy and Trauma Based Therapy to support your individual specific challenges, issues and needs.
I offer professional, confidential online psychotherapy and counselling for men, women, couples and families in the UK, Europe and around the world through Face to Face Sessions here at The Life Edit Lounge, together with Zoom and FaceTime sessions as required. As a highly qualified and skilled trauma based relational therapist and coach, I aim to help you to effectively resolve your emotional and psychological problems in a respectful, non-judgemental, supportive therapeutic environment.
I am fortunate that together with numerous clients, we have worked face to face, online using video conferencing and over the telephone, to edit their lives and reclaim inner power, live life by design and create healthy, happy relationships, starting with the one they have with themselves
… So, I know that we can make that change for you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information
I know what it's like to feel like you need help but don't know where to find the help that you need. I also know how scary and daunting it can be to share things that are really bothering you with a stranger, especially when they've been going on for some time or other people seem to cope with things that have just become too much for you. As a woman of faith, I also understand how culture, religion and family expectations can stop you from speaking out about how life is for you and that you are struggling. If there are any questions that you have about the service I offer and how it can support you at this time please get in touch by telephone or email.
