About me

I lost my sight at the age of 6 and music played a vital role in helping me find my voice and identity on the stage. Later, I also learned to use my voice in other aspects of my life through a journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance. In my practice I work with individuals and couples. I have a keen interest in people and the relationship they have with themselves. I believe that when we have a good relationship with ourselves, our relationships with the people around us are improved. I aim to provide a safe and comfortable space for clients to explore their deepest worries. I believe that providing a safe environment helps the client to engage better with their authentic self.

My approach to working with clients keeps the client at the center of the therapeutic alliance. The client always remains in control and actively involved in the work that we do and their aims and objectives are respected. I am my genuine self when I am with my clients and this could mean showing them, where appropriate, how they have impacted me. This sometimes gives them permission to express feelings that they normally find difficult to express and the process of exploring them can now begin.
