Sometimes life can feel overwhelming and it may seem there are no answers to your problems. You may feel ashamed, embarrassed or a burden to speak of such problems with family and friends and so become consumed by your feelings.
I am here for you to explore such life issues through a talking therapy in a confidential, safe and non-judgemental environment. Person-centred counselling is a non-directive approach that provides therapeutic support which allows you to begin on a journey of personal growth and positive changes.

I have experience of working with all of the above and have therapeutically supported many clients in their personal journeys, assisting them in understanding their problem and ultimately helping increase their self-esteem and empowering change.
I am also a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist which allows the client and my-self to explore different interventions to help with the above problems. CBT works with how our thoughts affect how we feel and behave. This is a collaborative approach between myself and the client as we work together to change these negative thoughts and behaviours.
I offer mid-week daytime and evening appointments in the relaxed environment of my therapy room. This is a 10 minute walk from the local train station or there is free parking available directly outside.

I offer a free 20 minute initial consultation as I feel it is important for the client to feel comfortable within the counselling relationship.
Thereafter there is a charge of:
- £35.00 per 50 minute session
- Student counsellors personal therapy - £25.00 per session
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. This assures my clients that I have the appropriate qualifications and experience to practice as your counsellor.
