About me
I am an dramatherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and The British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth) and have 10 years experience with a range of clients in different settings. I run a private practice, through which I offer therapy to children, young people and adults as well as offering clinical supervision to those in the caring professions.
As a dramatherapist, I work integratively. This means that I am informed by a range of therapeutic theories and perspectives including, person-centred, existential and humanistic psychotherapy. These perspectives allow me to see each client as an individual and attend to their needs and concerns in an individualised manner. Having trained as a dramatherapist, I am also able to introduce creative exercises to support therapeutic work and this can often assist clients who may find that talking alone isn’t meeting their needs or moving them in the direction they wish to go. I welcome clients’ creativity into the therapy space and see this as an important way to connect within the therapy as well as with the wider world.
I graduated from Roehampton University in 2012 with an MA Dramatherapy. Since then my clinical practice has included 10 years working with young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as well as working 1:1 and facilitating groups with adults and offering supervision to those working in the caring professions, having qualified as a clinical supervisor in 2019.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
Areas of counselling I deal with
Other areas of counselling I deal with
I am a specialist in the field of working young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and have worked with this client group for many years. I continue to offer private therapy to young people with additional learning needs.
I also have a specific interest in working with parents and carers of those with additional learning needs and I encourage parents to seek support whenever they need to given the demands that can often be placed upon them.
I am also available to support teachers and other associated professionals who work closely with this client group and I offer individual and group supervision sessions as well as Reflective Practice Groups (RPGs) on a freelance basis.
