About me
Hi I'm Tamara. I am a chartered clinical psychologist. I work with a wide range of individuals from different walks of life and specialise in the treatment of anxiety and low mood.
I know that we all face challenges from time to time. This is part of being human but sometimes, for any number of reasons, life can feel tricky for prolonged periods of time. This can leave us all feeling overwhelmed and worried that things may never get any better.
I aim to create a warm safe non judgemental space to understand your current difficulties and identify the most helpful way forward. As a clinical psychologist I am trained in many different therapies including CBT, ACT and CFT so therapy can be tailored to your specific needs.
I am really happy to have a chat on the phone in the first instance to see if therapy is what you are looking for. The best way to get in touch is by email and we can arrange a convenient time for us to chat.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an experienced Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of clinical experience in the NHS. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and I am a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I provide in -person psychological assessment, consultation, formulation and therapy in a private clinic based in Suffolk. I also works with a wide variety of patients online.
I am committed to working with individuals in a professional, non-judgmental and honest manner. I do this by using evidence based psychological approaches and building on individual resilience and strengths.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
