About me

I am a chartered clinical psychologist currently working both within the NHS and in private practice. At the heart of my practice is cultivating a warm and strong relationship with my clients that allows them to feel heard, validated, and respected balanced with practical work that needs to be done in order to heal.

I utilise an integrative approach to therapy and work to stay attuned with a person's individual needs. I encourage people to separate themselves from their problems and instead come to a deeper understanding of why they struggle in the way they do. I work with people's experiences, skills, and values, as well as provide them with techniques informed by a number of therapeutic models. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy and Systemic Therapy.

I was raised in Sweden to a Polish family and moved to the UK at the age of 18. Growing up in a migrant family afforded me the privilege of a better understanding of diversity of experience and identity. I have a particular interest in exploring the impact of minority stress, and broader contextual factors, on a person’s wellbeing. I work with individuals at all stages of their lives and have experience and interest in sexual health and gender identity.

Training, qualifications & experience

I earned my doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the University of East London. I am a Clinical Psychologist, registered to practice with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I work both in the NHS and in private practice. I am able to offer therapy in Polish and Swedish in addition to English.
